We currently have 2 Direct Care Positions available:

1.) 5 on 5 off

Learn to teach in a unique home environment for young adults with intellectual disabilities with an extended inservice and ongoing coaching from a team leader.  

Support a young man as he creates pottery for his friends and builds a model railroad.  Share in his love for Myth busters, bike riding, and origami.  Join another young man for an afternoon jogging on the green belt, or for ice cream at Delsa’s.  Together, they enjoy music and BBQing. Assist them both in increasing their language using science-based teaching strategies, encourage independence in completing household chores and cooking delicious meals, all while contributing to a valued quality of life by providing friendship, encouragement, and opportunities to pursue their personal interests.

This entry level position does not require prior experience, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates will have the desire to make a difference in the lives of others, a pleasant and positive attitude, and the willingness to adopt therapeutic interactions based on recommendations from a supervisor. They will also work effectively with a variety of people in a team setting and have the motivation to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications*:

  • High school diploma & be 19 years or older

  • An acceptable driving record with 3 or less violations and no alcohol related violations

  • A clear background check (can be completed upon hiring)

  • Must be able to work a variety of days and hours, including weekends and some holidays

  • Ability to take direction from a team leader

       * Applicants that don't meet qualifications will not be considered for employment

2.)  PM Position

Learn to teach in a unique home environment with an extended in-service and ongoing coaching from a team leader.  Develop close relationships with two school age children with Autism and be an active participant as they learn, play, and grow.  You will increase their language skills so they can better communicate with those around them, teach them to dress independently, learn to play games with others, and change their lives in the most rewarding way.  Be a part of a team that gives children the support and opportunity to reach their potential.

  •  Starts at $9.10 hr. Raise to $9.40 hr. After 1st month

  •   Raise to $9.90 plus $50 bonus

  •  Paid sick leave

  •  Raise to $10.40 plus $100 bonus
